2010-11 New England Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report
If you're like me, most people prefer to compare costs of remodeling projects and/or improvements to their home by speaking with multiple people who specialize in their trade. We want to ensure that not only will we get "the best bang for our buck", but MORE IMPORTANTLY, who will provide the best QUALITY of work! Additionally, people who are considering selling their home want to know where they can recoop the most VALUE on their home.
Here is the 2010-11 Cost vs. Value Report as it pertains to a myriad of projects: Additions, Remodeling and Replacements. These numbers were pulled from www.hometechonline.com which takes into account construction cost estimates as well as labor cost information from each city and compiled together to create national AVERAGES.* The statistics derived from surveys to 150,000 appraisers, sales agents and brokers in the summer of 2010 and more than 3,000 participated.
